The Civil War on Hatteras Island

Island Farm Pumpkin Patch

Blackbeard's Pirate Jamboree

Evening Lantern Tours: Draped in Black; Victorian Death Rituals

8th Annual Outer Banks Shrimp Cookoff
An appetizing competition among local restaurants, whipping up their best shrimp platters to try for Top Choice prizes. This benefit for the Outer Banks Center for Dolphin Research includes drink specials, a 50/50 raffle and lots of door prizes. Tickets $25. 12-3pm.  Ocean Boulevard Restaurant, Kitty Hawk.
